HA!
I was working tonight and there was a late table coming in at around 930. At 10:37 they still had only 3 out of 10 people and we close at 11:00. They were supposedly some hot shot NBA star’s party, but no one really cared. Around 10:40 my manager tells me I can go home. at 11, lebron james shows up and I’m headed on my way home. I know it’s not a big deal, I mean, what would seeing him do for me? but i feel like i missed out on a good story, and that bums me out :(
Maybe there’s a better story out there for me

My dad’s food stand is doing well. We are “In-the-Pan”! haha. I’m making signs for it now and I hate hand drawing letters, but it think it looks alright. If all goes well then we will be somewhat financially stable again.
Even though i’ve been in the food service industry for over 3 years now we still have a love hate relationship. I don’t think that will ever change. On the bright side, with the money we are saving my dad wants to open the dessert component, Maci’s Tasties. It’s been a dream of mine to have a little dessert business on the side, and it’s finally happening (god willing). It won’t be too soon, as I already have enough on my plate. but if this happens, i’ll be a lucky duck and be able to contribute more to my family. I know in the past (aka, 2 days ago) I COMPLETELY resented the fact that I was brought aboard this project without being asked. I couldn’t/ can’t say no because it is our livelihood. And unfortunately, I am the one in charge or organization and production. I didn’t want all of this responsibility but it was bestowed upon me. SO i can bitch and whine or work hard and wine it up at the end of the day. I’ll take the wine.
